Auction? Kinda more like trading stuff!

As I was mindlessly roaming facebook I stumbled upon this link, I have no idea how or where, but I find it interesting!  It is like ebay with credits!  Most of the stuff on there also features free shipping and they start you off with 400 credits!  So I have been checking that out and finally listed a small set of 2 wine glass charms... I think that this idea could be an awesome one, especially in this economy!  Basically when you purchase something you "buy" it with credits and when you sell something you receive credits as payment, which you then use to "buy" more items!  I think it could be GREAT!  lol  The name of the site is Listia... Strange but lets see how well it works!

I get that it is not something that will pay my bills or put any of my many children through college, however I think it is a great idea to swap some things that you may not need and someone else does for some credit to get some other things that you might need... I am hoping that my "auction" goes decently and that I will be auctioning some more items, maybe I will get rid of some of the stuff in my basement... Ya know the stuff that is "still good" and maybe someday someone will "need" it so it is kept around!  Like Sophie's old clothes that I think would make a cute something someday when I sew it into that!  lol...

Butterfly Wine Glass Charms - Set of 4

I am thinking that we need some comments on here... I wanted to do a random giveaway of those cute little butterfly wine glass charms... I had it all planned out!  I was going to run it for a week and use random.org to select the winner from the people who left a comment... And then I realized that I hardly get comments on here! lol... Guess I will have to mega promote it on facebook!

OK!  Here goes!  I am listing my happy little set o' wine glass charms up for a giveaway!!  I will be closing this giveaway on Tuesday, October 25th at midnight (est) and then I will be posting the winner on Wednesday!  I will be promoting this on facebook and twitter!  ;)

By the way the wine glass charms are NOT the only thing that has gotten popular lately!  These personalized pet tags are hopping!  I have had orders for five or six of them this weekend alone!  I was kinda surprised!  I finally put one on Miss Sheeva to display!  She sits so pretty, well for like a second and then she is looking around!  I wonder if she was bored... Or perhaps I had bad breath!  Gosh I hope not! lol... Oh ok... that was kinda corny, even for me! lmfao...  Anyhow I hope that more of you check out my personalized items!  I am firm believer that personalization and customization should not mean breaking the bank!  I have looked at what others do and the prices that some people charge, it is CRAZY!  I would never be able to afford those prices, and neither would most people at this time!  I get that people are trying to earn a living but why do it by charging outrageous prices, why not just get more orders!  I know that I charge enough to cover my supplies and make the time that I spend worth it!  Maybe the small orders are not so profitable, but the larger ones make up for it!

Anyhow... Enough blah blah blahing on my part!  Oh and a side note... For those of you who actually know me, please note that I have decided NOT to blast the real names of my children online, especially since they may be my models on occasion!  Please do not comment on who is who, think about it... Usually you can gauge what age/gender child I am talking about and go from there!
