Crochet Along... Oops I went ahead :/

Square #2
So... I got into doing this CAL... And I kept going and going and... Well you get the picture! lol

I found that these squares worked up SO fast!  The assignment for the week (new assignment comes out June 1st) was squares one and eight... I did one, two, three, four, and eight... :/  However I have learned that my colors are coming together nicely!

Square #3
I wanted something springish and fun... I went with Red Heart because I did not want to shell out a bunch of cash on something that I am doing for fun, really!

Square #4
I posted some pix in the last post, they were the actual assignment!  lol  And here are some more to go with it!  I do still have to introduce the last color!  I also still have NO idea what I am going to do with this throw once it is all done! lol

I was thinking about giving it to my daughter - she LOVES the bright colors and with the pink and purple its a little too girlie for my sons taste, however, if I do that then I will kinda feel obligated to do ANOTHER one for him... Did I mention that I have commitment issues??  lol

Oh yeah and please do NOT forget that there is still time for YOU to get in and become a part of this CAL!  You can get ALL of the information and see my first two squares HERE!  Don't worry I am only taking you to my previous post, I am pretty sure you can just scroll down and check it out as well ;)

So I suppose (since my kiddos are still in school and I have to get up EARLY tomorrow) I should call it a night!  I am going to *TRY* to leave this alone until Friday when the second assignment is listed!  I cannot make any promises (remember the commitment issues lol ;) but I will definitely TRY!  Since I have a TON of bottle cap orders to fill it should NOT be too hard! lol

So... Until next time!

Happy Crafting!!

Crochet Along... Oh boy!

CAL Project
So if you have been reading along you probably saw a thing or two about my fear of commitment... If not well it is pretty much a fact that I CANNOT deny! lol  However, the lovely Scotti over at The Inner Hooker is hosting her second Crochet Along (CAL) and I thought that since I actually placed a vote for the pattern to be picked I should probably actually participate!

I started tonight with this weeks assignment... I have completed the two squares that we were assigned already... Who knew?  They worked up so FAST and so EASY!  I am amazed and wanting to move forward! lol

Square #1
Anyhow if you are interested in attempting this yourself you most definitely can still get in on the fun!  Check out this link for her blog and you can even join a group of over 170 crocheters, most of which are in their very first CAL, by clicking here!

Square #8
You can even share your pictures of your progress and chat with other members!  I know that this is my first CAL and I think that having the added bonus of the ravelry group is awesome!  You can chat on the discussion board and there is even a little chat room!

At the very least you should check it out!  The pattern is super cute and super easy!

Until next time - Happy Crafting!

Basic Beanie 3-6 Months

Basic Beanie! 3-6 Month Size
As promised... Though a little late, here is the second installment in the "Basic Beanie's Collection" lol.  I actually have a set of these that I keep made up... Basically when I am writing a pattern in stead of constantly measuring (I do have a bit of OCD) I just check it with the basic beanie that is already made up!  It has saved me a TON of time!  They can be worked in rounds as well, however the thought of rounds tends to intimidate a beginner so this one is technically in rows.

Please remember that we are NOT TURNING at the end of each row, you will attach, chain 1 and keep going forward.

I PROMISE that I am going to try harder to get back on task and stay on task!  I am putting out a series of beginner hat patterns starting with the 0-3 month basic beanie.  They can be worked in rounds as well, however the thought of rounds tends to intimidate a beginner so this one is technically in rows.
